ITLine – Leased SDH circuit

ITLine data service establishes a Point-to-Point circuit that is based on SDH technology – or, for narrowband E1 link, on PDH technology.

This technology is thoroughly tested and well known; it is based on time-division multiplexing, which provides a high degree of reliability, data transmission security, as well as voice or video between two remote locations. In the event of an outage, it provides a switching time to the protected path of less than 50 ms; therefore, the customer does not perceive this failover as in interruption to the service. 

A Point-to-Point circuit can be created in three different ways:

  • "PoP-to-PoP" (Point-of-Presence) circuit between two colocation facilities of IT TEL.
  • "Pop-to-End" circuit between IT TEL's colocation facility and the location of the customer.
  • "End-to-End" circuit between two customer locations.

ITLine offers several options for link protection using the redundant link within IT TEL's own network. It also offers the protection of a local loop from IT TEL's PoP to the customer's location.
